Small Games, Sharp Questions
December 1, 2025
We believe that a game that can be played in twelve minutes and remembered for twelve years is more valuable than a game that consumes twelve hundred hours and leaves nothing behind.
This is not a statement against large games. It's a statement about what we are for. We are for precision. For the single question, well posed. For the experience that changes one small thing about how you see the world.
What We Owe You
Every game we ship is a claim on your attention. Attention is the scarcest resource any of us have. We take that seriously. If a feature doesn't earn its place, if it doesn't add curiosity, beauty, or understanding, it doesn't ship.
We don't add content to add content. We don't extend playtime for the sake of metrics. When a game is done, it's done. We'd rather you finish it and feel something than lose interest three hours in.
The Promise
April 31 games will always be: honest about what they are, respectful of your time, curious about the world, and finished. We will not ship early access titles, season passes, or content roadmaps. We ship games.
The date we named ourselves after doesn't exist. But everything we make from it will.
